Prep (U8/9/10)
The Spring Prep Program includes participation in the Slurpee Cup on the May 21/22/23 Long weekend for all U9/10 participants and capable U8s.

The Kamloops Youth Soccer Association (KYSA) is seeking an ADDITIONAL full time Senior Staff Coach to add to our current team. The Association serves over 2500 participants through three main programs over the course of the year. We own and operate a 20,000 square foot indoor facility. KYSA’s mission is to be a community leader in the provision of positive, rewarding, and inclusive athletic
experiences through soccer. We are looking to add a new team member who can deliver programming while staying true to the values of our club: Community, Inclusion, Respect, Growth, and Excellence.

DOME FACILITY ATTENDANT

The Kamloops Youth Soccer Association is looking to add a Dome Facility Attendant to our team for the remainder of the 2022 indoor season.

The duties and responsibilities of the Dome Facility Attendant are as follows:

      • Open and close facility including arming and disarming security system
      • Respond to inquiries from user groups 
      • Ensures the setup is in place for user groups and monitors use of facility
      • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and public health guidelines
      • Performs general cleaning duties: Clearing entrance of snow/ice during inclement weather, sanitizing all touch points, janitorial duties and use of cleaning equipment
      • Takes action to deal with incidents, problems and emergencies 

Hours of work: 

      • Evenings & weekends
      • Seasonal, part-time hours 

Compensation: 

      • $15.20 per hour

KYSA COVID-19 UPDATE

Return to Play Update 

BC Soccer is working with the Provincial Government to formulate a plan for the return of soccer. You can read more HERE. 

Following the BC Government’s press conference on May 6, 2020 with details on BC’s Restart Plan, we are optimistic that soccer will return in some capacity as soon as mid-May. We continue to take direction from BC Soccer and we are working on a plan to offer modified soccer activities for both recreational and competitive players. More information will be provided on available programming as soon as possible.
