We are dedicated to providing our community with a fun, inclusive, challenging and safe soccer experience. All academy programs are led by trained, certified, and paid instructors and we group participants with like minded individuals of similar abilities and seek to challenge each participant appropriately.

General Information:
- Registration Opens October 3 at 12pm.
- The 2023-24 Winter programs will run over a single phase of 8 to 10 weeks (depending on the specific day of the program).
- All sessions take place at the Warner Rentals Soccer Dome located at 313 Nishga Way in the Mt. Paul Industrial Park.
- Listed fees do not include the one time 2023 BC Soccer Registration Fee (an additional cost for new registrants – contact the office for more details).
COMMUNITY PROGRAMS:
For those seeking general skill development in a fun and recreational environment. Our Community focussed programs are for those wanting an enjoyable connection with the game without the heavier expectations of performance.
U3/4/5 Initiation Program
This is a parent with child participation program. Parents will be experiencing all activities along with their child and will be following the lead of our Academy Instructors.
U5/6/7 Keener Program
Participants will explore the fundamental skills of soccer (no parent participation required) and explore the basics of the game in a 1v1 and 2v2 competition format. All sessions will involve a warm up and skill focussed first half followed by scrimmage centered second half. ‘Experienced’ and ‘mature’ U5s are welcome to step up to this program. Beginner U5s or those still gaining the confidence to push boundaries should consider participating in the U3/4/5 parent with child program.
U8/9/10 Skills & Scrimmage
Participants will expand on the fundamental skills of soccer and explore the basics of the game in 3v3 to 5v5 competition format. All sessions will involve a warm up and skill focussed first half followed by scrimmage centered second half. ***50% discount for those U8/9/10s who are also registered in the Prep program (see details further below).
U11+ Shots & Stops
For the intermediate and experienced goalkeeper and outfield player, our Shots & Stops program offers individuals the opportunity to sharpen their skills and confidence in front of goal.
SELECT ACADEMY PROGRAMS:
Our Select Programming is only available to KYSA Select Players (Roster and Reserve) and those U8/9/10 individuals seeking a higher level of accountability in a more challenging and competitive environment.
U8/9/10 Prep Program
Our Prep program is for those committed and capable individuals who wish to pursue a higher level of technical training and performance. The program will include specialized group training, technical training, and may include games and/or tournaments against other clubs to allow players to play in a competitive environment.
U11 to U18 Select Skills Sessions & GK Training
For any confirmed 2024 KYSA Select player (Roster and Reserve) seeking to improve their passing, receiving, and combination play. Goalkeepers are welcome and will receive dedicated GK training from Coach Darren and then be blended into games.
U11 to U18 Scrimmage Series
An opportunity for Select players to get together and play on a casual basis. Teams will be formed based on attendance and play games in either a 5v5 or 7v7 format.
