Volunteering

The Kamloops Youth Soccer Association is always looking for volunteers to help out with coaching, assisting head coaches, managing, equipment sorting, phoning and participating on various committees. KYSA is primarily a volunteer-driven organization and volunteers are necessary to make it work. Whether you can spare two hours a week or two hours a month, it is all greatly appreciated. Our children are the ones who benefit!

WHAT ARE SOME OF THE BENEFITS OF VOLUNTEERING?

  • Volunteering can have a meaningful and positive impact on our community.
  • Most people find themselves in need at some point in their lives.
  • Today, we may be the person with time to help; tomorrow, we may be the recipients of someone else’s volunteer effort.
  • There are a lot of rewards that come from volunteering, which include, gaining work experience, making a difference in someone’s life, improvement of health, meeting new people and the most importantly, an overall fun experience.

VOLUNTEERING & STUDENTS:

For youth, volunteering brings a new sense of confidence.  It enables young people to develop new communication and social skills and assist with career building skills.
