~ KYSA & VOLUNTEERS ~

The Kamloops Youth Soccer Association is always looking for volunteers to help out with coaching, assisting head coaches, managing, equipment sorting, phoning and participating on various committees. KYSA is primarily a volunteer-driven organization and volunteers are necessary to make it work. Whether you can spare two hours a week or two hours a month, it is all greatly appreciated. Our children are the ones who benefit!

WHAT ARE SOME OF THE BENEFITS OF VOLUNTEERING?

Volunteering can have a meaningful and positive impact on our community.

Most people find themselves in need at some point in their lives.

Today, we may be the person with time to help; tomorrow, we may be the recipients of someone else's volunteer effort.

There are a lot of rewards that come from volunteering, which include, gaining work experience, making a difference in someone’s life, improvement of health, meeting new people and the most importantly, an overall fun experience.

 VOLUNTEERING & STUDENTS:

For youth, volunteering brings a new sense of confidence.

It enables young people to develop new communication and social skills and assist with career building skills.

Contact your school regarding possible CAP hours.

 CONTACT INFO:

If you have a few hours you can spare  please contact the KYSA office at 250-828-2734 or email kysa@telus.net.
